Different Degrees Within Each Level
There can also be different degrees of security within each level that will depend on schedules desired, number of cameras, size of the facility, activity, and priority level required. For example a 50000 sq. ft. warehouse with a closing schedule of 5pm to 7am would require more attention for “Video Patrol” than a 10000 sq. ft. office area with a similar schedule.
The Equipment Required
Each site requires a certain amount of equipment such as cameras, speakers, microphones, digital recorder/transmitter, infrared illuminators or lights, and alarm detection devices such as burglar alarms, motion detectors, photo-electric beams, fence sensors, etc. Each site would need to be evaluated to determine the minimum amount of equipment required to do the job. The cost of the equipment is of course determined by the quantity of equipment required. The equipment purchase cost could range from a few thousand dollars to a few hundred thousand dollars. In most cases you have the option to buy or lease the equipment. |
