In March of 1991 Danny Forrest started Advantage Security Access, Inc., ASA, with the goal of becoming the best security alarm company in Houston, Texas. Hard work, dedication and a unique commitment to customer satisfaction has caused a steady growth at ASA for 14 years. Mr. Forrest started in the security business in 1978 in Dallas. In 1983 he moved to Houston to start Certified Security Services, a guard and patrol company.  Certified developed into a diversified company doing guards & patrols plus security and video systems.  When Advantage was started in 1991 Mr. Forrest decided not to continue in the guard and patrol business but to concentrate all efforts on technology.  In 2005 Mr. Forrest changed the name of the company to Advantage Security Integration to more closely describe the type of leading edge high-tech company they had become.  Today Mr. Forrest and ASI is recognized as a leader in the integration of fire, intrusion, video, and access systems.

Diana is the wife of 30 years to owner and founder Danny Forrest and has been an intregal part of the company since it's inception.  Diana's expertise has been in her ability to keep things organized.  The steady growth of ASI has been in many ways due to her watchful eye. You know what they say, "Behind every great man there's a woman telling him what to do."

Bobbie, a graduate of Texas A&M is a valuable asset to ASI. She has many years of experience in finance and management.

Dorothy is usually the first voice you hear when you call. If she cannot help you she will direct you to someone who can. Dorothy has years of administrative and management experience in the security industry. Dorothy's experience and "ready to help" attitude make her a valuable asset to ASI and to our customers.

IT Manager

As IT Manager, Nathan is responsible for maintaining all network systems essential for keeping ASI operational.  His duties also include configuring and trouble shooting computer based digital video recorders, setting up security networks for ASI customers and educating the ASI sales department on how to most effectively design a local security network for the latest IP based security equipment.

Brian brings fresh energy and new ideas to the ASI team.  With over eight years of sales experience, Brian brings a whole new dynamic that is essential to the ASI team.  Brian is knowledgeable in the security industry, and a master at customer service.

Inside Sales
Contact Stew

Stewart Robertson manages all sales of parts and box sales for ASI, and brings over 27 years of experience in audio and electronic security.  Stew handles orders for CCTV parts (lenses, mounts, housings, cameras, DVR's, and complete systems),  intrusion and fire alarm parts (door or window contacts, motion or smoke detectors, batteries, keypads, etc.), access control parts (access cards, key fobs, readers etc.), and audio parts (intercom, power amps, speakers, microphones, etc.).  In his many years of experience Stew has developed the sources to help you find the components you need.  Stew can even help you locate hard-to-find items or even obsolete parts.

Ray Rodríguez has extensive experience with all facets of the electronic security industry. He was employed by Honeywell, Inc. for over twenty years in marketing and sales. He also worked for such companies as Mosler Corp. and Tyco in various management capacities. His areas of expertise are in video surveillance, access control, fire alarms and system integration.  In addition to his experience in the security industry, Ray also lends his professional skills as our on staff photographer.

Ray is an active member of the Transportation Club of Houston.

Brian is a licensed fire alarm technician with over 14 years in the security industry.     When ASI was looking for a leader recently (January, 2006) Brian's name came to the surface. His experience, integrity, and loyalty made Brian the right choice to coordinate our service team.  Brian is committed to customer service & customer satisfaction. When Brian is not troubleshooting fire systems or sending someone to work on your security systems he is Pastoring a local congregation where he troubleshoots people's souls.

Ray gilder joined the ASI team 10 years ago, and carries with him over 12 years of total experience in the industry.  He has completed Level 1 Security and DMP training, and was one of the original two founding members of the Eyeforce group.  Ray now supervises the Eyeforce group for ASI, and oversees its expanding membership and client list.
